System Analyst Job Description

They investigate a company's present system, methods, and business processes and develop action plans based on the needs.

Systems analysts must know various operating systems, hardware configurations, programming languages, and software and hardware platforms. They might be involved in the project from the analytical phase through the post-deployment evaluation review.

• Maintain close contact with external or internal clients

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or comparable experience
• Previous experience in information technology and system analysis

• Demonstrated ability to analyse company needs and convert them into appropriate solutions
• Thorough grasp and expertise of database maintenance and management concepts and practices
• Previous experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and deploying new applications and systems
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of programming languages
