Lead Engineer Job Description

A lead engineer is a technical professional who provides engineering leadership for a team of engineers. He or she is expected to provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, as well as contribute to the design and development of new products and features. A lead engineer must also ensure that engineering processes are followed and product quality is maintained.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
