QA Lead Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work
  • Creating test plans and strategies
  • Identifying and documenting defects
  • Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)
  • Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products

QA Lead Requirements & Skills

  • 4 years of experience in software testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
