8. Compare checkpoint with the contents
When the tester ran the testcase the first time, it worked as expected. Pick the correct statements:

A: When the test case is ran the second time, the data entry for “Sid” already exists in the database.
B: When the test case is ran the second time, it performs exactly as it did the first time
C: The testcase is a good example for regression testing “Helen”
D: The testcase is not a good example for regression testing “Helen” since the system behaves differently when the testcase is ran the second time

Upon completion of the Mocha Online Test, you'll receive a detailed scorecard for each candidate. This report provides a clear breakdown of their skills, allowing you to easily compare candidates and identify the best fit for your team. This data-driven approach allows for better informed hiring decisions and reduces the risk of costly mis-hires.

What topics are covered in the Mocha Online Test?

The Mocha Online Test assesses a candidate's skills across various layers and components critical for building and maintaining effective systems. It helps gauge their understanding of concepts that underpin application architecture and performance.

This evaluation includes Data Layers, which concern the persistence and retrieval of information. A solid understanding here ensures data integrity and availability. Further, the test looks at Statistical Layers, important for deriving insights and making data-driven decisions within an application. The ability to appropriately apply statistical methods is key to analyzing data trends and informing strategy.

We also examine Initializers, the processes responsible for setting up the application environment. This area impacts how smoothly an application starts and integrates with its dependencies. Proficiency in Test Execution ensures the quality of the deliverables through rigorous testing protocols. Understanding Mocha Backends showcases familiarity with testing frameworks and environments, verifying code behaves as expected across various platforms.

Computation Layer expertise reflects the ability to design and implement the core logic of an application. How tasks are processed and algorithms are executed falls under this skill set. Moreover, the test considers Utility Layers, which provide reusable functions that streamline development and promote code maintainability. Finally, the test explores familiarity with CPU Backend with Native Extension, which allows us to understand how candidates handle native code integration and optimize application performance at the hardware level.

Read more about the proctoring features.

How do I interpret test scores?

The primary thing to keep in mind is that an assessment is an elimination tool, not a selection tool. A skills assessment is optimized to help you eliminate candidates who are not technically qualified for the role, it is not optimized to help you find the best candidate for the role. So the ideal way to use an assessment is to decide a threshold score (typically 55%, we help you benchmark) and invite all candidates who score above the threshold for the next rounds of interview.

What experience level can I use this test for?

Each Adaface assessment is customized to your job description/ ideal candidate persona (our subject matter experts will pick the right questions for your assessment from our library of 10000+ questions). This assessment can be customized for any experience level.
