If you are unable to see stream of your webcam, confirm you have given access to your camera by clicking on the lock button besides the address. It should say "Camera: Allow". If it says "Denied", follow the instructions in next step.

Troubleshooting tips

If it is not working even after giving permissions and reloading, visit meet.google.com and create a session. If the camera is not showing up, its likely an issue with your browser or privacy settings of your device.

Tip1: Follow the troubleshooting steps here to make sure you are giving access to your Camera properly.

Tip2: You can also try this-

  1. Open Chrome browser
  2. Copy and paste the following into the address bar at the top of the browser: chrome://flags/#enable-media-foundation-video-capture
  3. In the drop down for "MediaFoundation Video Capture" select "Disabled"
  4. Relaunch Chrome and it should be fixed.

Tip3: You can try this -

  1. Enter chrome://settings/content/camera in the Chrome address bar.
  2. Disable the setting "Ask before accessing."
