UX Writer Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for our products
  • Help shape the voice and tone of our products
  • Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, and product managers to understand user needs and create content that meets those needs
  • Understand complex technical concepts and explain them in simple terms
  • Use data and feedback to improve your work
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs
  • Create UX content, such as user interface text, online help, and marketing copy
  • Work with UX designers and other UX professionals to create cohesive user experiences
  • Manage the creation and revision of UX content
  • Localize UX content for international audiences

UX Writer Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Writer, or similar role
  • Experience writing for web and mobile applications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles
  • Familiarity with UX design processes
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in simple terms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
