SQL Developer Job Description

As an SQL Developer, you will be expected to create quick and performant database queries, perform database maintenance activities and ensure even load distribution as needed. Following best database design and development techniques and remaining up to speed with all essential data security processes, and complying with all current data protection regulations will be among your responsibilities.

An SQL Developer comes with excellent SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Java Procedures, and XML editors. SQL Developer allows you to run queries, produce execution plans, export data to the chosen format (XML, Excel, HTML, PDF, etc.), execute, debug, test, and document your database applications, and much more.

They are in charge of creating database systems for storing and retrieving company data. An SQL developer uses advanced data management and technological expertise to protect the safety and security of the systems, preventing unwanted access that might jeopardise the company's reputation.

They assess network architecture, execute several diagnostic tests, and upgrade information security systems to ensure maximum performance and efficient navigation. • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of the MySQL database
• Knowledge of creating SQL queries based on a specified structure and syntax
• Strong MSSQL development skills (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS)
• Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP data structures
• Experience in Data Warehouse development and CI
• Solid understanding of stored procedure generation, debugging, and execution.
