Data Anonymization and Deletion

Adaface provides seamless features for anonymizing/ deleting candidates data easily.

We capture details about candidates as per companies settings which includes PII like email, name, phone number and optionally resume. All the data collected from a candidate for a company will be managed by the company. We provide companies with the tools to edit/ view/ delete candidates data (and therefore manage request from candidates about their PII). We refer candidates to companies for any such requests.

Companies can 'anonymize' option under 'delete' icon in 'Actions' column in candidates tab to anonymize candidate data - this way, the entry will be anonymized but it can be fetched back by requesting us through [email protected] We suggest companies use this option if they think they might need the details of these entries in the future for any troubleshooting or logging.

Deleting candidate details

They can also choose 'delete' option under 'delete' icon in 'Actions' column in candidates tab to delete candidate data - this way, the entry will be completely deleted from our storage. This is a permanent operation and we expect companies to expect ~2 weeks for complete removal from our caches. Once completed, there is no way for Adaface to bring back the lost data. We just maintain an entry in candidates table to reflect the used credit.

Note: Ability to delete/ anonymize candidate data directly from dashboard is an enterprise feature. Please get in touch to get it added to your Adaface instance. For non-enterprise accounts, please send requests to [email protected] for data deletion.
