Test candidates on core Data Interpretation Hiring Test topics

Reading data: Reading data refers to the ability to understand and comprehend information presented in a numerical or textual format. This skill is important as it allows individuals to extract meaningful insights from data, enabling them to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.

Drawing inferences: Drawing inferences involves using data and information to reach logical conclusions or make educated guesses. It requires a deep understanding of the context and the ability to connect the dots to uncover underlying patterns or relationships. Assessing this skill helps evaluate an individual's analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Interpreting graphs: Interpreting graphs involves understanding and making sense of visual representations of data, such as line graphs, bar charts, or pie charts. It requires the ability to analyze trends, identify patterns, and extract insights from the visual depiction of information. Evaluating this skill is crucial as it assesses an individual's ability to derive knowledge from data visualization.

Analyzing charts: Analyzing charts refers to the capability of extracting meaningful information from charts, such as histograms, scatter plots, or box plots. It involves interpreting various data points, understanding relationships, and detecting anomalies or trends within the chart. Assessing this skill helps gauge an individual's ability to make data-driven decisions based on graphical representations.

Analyzing tables: Analyzing tables involves comprehending and extracting relevant information from tabular data structures. It requires the capacity to identify patterns, compare data points, and derive insights from the organized format. Evaluating this skill allows recruiters to assess an individual's attention to detail and quantitative data analysis skills.

Data visualization: Data visualization refers to the practice of representing data in a visual or graphical format to enhance understanding and communication. It involves creating clear and visually appealing charts, graphs, or dashboards to present complex data sets or trends. What is Data Interpretation Assessment Test?

The Data Interpretation Assessment Test evaluates a candidate's ability to read, interpret, and analyze data from graphs, charts, and tables. It is used by recruiters to identify individuals who can effectively process data and draw meaningful conclusions.

What types of questions are included in the Data Interpretation Assessment Test?

This test includes multiple-choice questions aimed at assessing skills such as reading data, drawing inferences, interpreting graphs, and analyzing charts, tables, and data visualizations. It evaluates the ability to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, especially for senior roles.

Can I test Data Interpretation and Numerical Reasoning together in a test?

Yes, combining Data Interpretation and Numerical Reasoning is recommended. This combination evaluates a candidate's comprehensive data skills. Check out the Data Interpretation, Numerical Reasoning & Spatial Reasoning Test for more details.

Can I combine multiple skills into one custom assessment?

Yes, absolutely. Custom assessments are set up based on your job description, and will include questions on all must-have skills you specify. Here's a quick guide on how you can request a custom test.

How do I interpret test scores?

The primary thing to keep in mind is that an assessment is an elimination tool, not a selection tool. A skills assessment is optimized to help you eliminate candidates who are not technically qualified for the role, it is not optimized to help you find the best candidate for the role. So the ideal way to use an assessment is to decide a threshold score (typically 55%, we help you benchmark) and invite all candidates who score above the threshold for the next rounds of interview.

Does every candidate get the same questions?

Yes, it makes it much easier for you to compare candidates. Options for MCQ questions and the order of questions are randomized. We have anti-cheating/ proctoring features in place. In our enterprise plan, we also have the option to create multiple versions of the same assessment with questions of similar difficulty levels.

What is the cost of using this test?
